My team, Elsewhere, is making a pixel-style turn-based strategy game inspired by classics like Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem, and we'd like to apply for mentorship with you. I've attached more information about our project below.
Aside from this, we've come up with a draft of our storyboard (it's got amnesia, memories as an energy source, and of course, saving the world š¤Ŗ) and we'd love to discuss more with you if you're keen on mentoring us!
We plan to develop our game for the desktop platform on Unity, and Man will be designing the artwork on GraphicsGale. We value your experience and we're excited to learn more about designing with users in mind (UI/UX) and real-life application of software engineering principles from you. Thank you for your consideration! :")

Weāre building a gyroscopic maze game for children on Android. The maze course will be made from the userās drawings on paper with computer vision; the game will have features like multiplayer modes and randomised āwormholesā that allow teleportation across phones.
Weāre hoping to learn from your experience with game development, especially to make sure elements like the placement of wormholes, incentives like the timer and leaderboard, etc. are optimised to make our gameplay engaging. We would also appreciate your guidance on UI/UX design - making the game intuitive for children.
We are Teddy and Petrick of Team VIGINTI, and we would love to have you guide us through our project! Our project revolves around designing Snapsheet, a personal finance manager app for convenient expenses tracking. We focus on features pivotal for easy bookkeeping, namely scanning receipts (using Microsoft Azureās Form Recognizer) and exporting to suitable file formats (e.g. .xlsx), all encapsulated in a simple, modern design.
Having looked through your slide, we find your expertise in mobile software engineering especially valuable and fitting to our project. We are aiming to build a minimalistic-looking app that can make an impact on people's financial habits (or at least incite some sparks of it), and dedicate more features that we couldnāt think of now that can make the project more impactful. We hope that you would favour taking part in our project and make Snapsheet come true. With your guidance, we believe that Snapsheet can be more than what it is now.
Should you have further queries, you can reach us via these email addresses and Telegram handles:
We are developing a knowledge-sync app; an application that compares across usersā highlighted content to determine the most essential portion of the text. Users can choose to complete quizzes created by other users, or set quizzes themselves to identify possible gaps in their knowledge, which could be covered through consulting their tutors and peers. Finally, statistics about their module progress and quiz progress would be displayed together with a leaderboard for top quiz creators.
Hi Candiie!
We are Sean and Wen Feng and our app is NUSTown.
Events
Catering to freshmen, seniors and exchangers, NUSTown presents campus events from various sources (Instagram, Telegram, Websites) in a streamlined manner. For any event, users will be able to click on the "match" button and go to events with those they matched with. Eventually, we hope it becomes a platform where users also organise their own events both casual (pickup games) and larger-scale (new interest groups).
Directory
Our integrated app also provide a directory with live crowd updates at popular spots, and includes food offerings at the eateries distributed across NUS. For any place, users can get shuttle bus directions there. Furthermore, our "match" feature works for places as well, allowing students to meet new people for lunch, a swim, or study sessions.
We hope to work with you given your previous experience in Orbital and your interest in mobile app development and UX/UI design. We believe UX/UI design are especially important for an app that caters to a mainstream audience.
