I've just had a skim through your proposal (I'll have a better look at it tomorrow), and it seems like a great idea, I love these project ideas that aim to solve existing issues. Usually for mentoring I go through a route of giving advice more on the "business" side of things such as looking at value proposition, features etc, linking up with relevant people that might be helpful (I have a decent network of friends), as well as being there for emotional support (good morale and mental health is really important on any project) If it matters, on the tech side I've not used Django and am quite new to ReactJS, so my help on the technical insights might be limited. Hi Jeannel,
We are Jun Da and Illio from team BridgeBot. Our aim is to create a Telegram bot capable of faciliating a game of floating bridge with several additional features that can ease the learning experience for a new player. Beyond that, we also want to be able to create a recommendation system that analyzes the best play given the information currently available.
We intend to write our bot in Java using pre-existing libraries as well as explore possible avenues to incorporate machine learning in our recommendation system.
