Dear Mr Davidson Chua @"Davidson Chua Chee Chuan" " ,
NutriNexus is a health wellness application inspired by Strava and Forest, where users get to adopt healthier lifestyles through a gamified points system. Points are awarded from walking more and making healthier food choices, which they can then use to customise their avatars and gardens. Beyond personal goals, we strive to foster an encouraging community, where users can interact with each other’s avatars and visit each other’s garden.

Why choose us?
We are highly motivated individuals who want to do our best in making our application successful. Despite us not having much previous experience, we are eager to learn and willing to invest our time in this meaningful project and we believe your mentorship could be pivotal in helping us achieve that goal.
We would be incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from you and refine our application under your mentorship. Hope you can consider our request. Thank you for your time and we look forward to the possibility of working together.

Dear Mr Davidson Chua @"Davidson Chua Chee Chuan" " ,
CodeOnTheGo is a mobile-first app that helps users practice coding by focusing on problem-solving processes rather than writing full code solutions. It guides users through structured questions, allowing them to outline their thought processes step-by-step. AI is employed to evaluate user responses, providing targeted hints and solution analysis to reinforce logical thinking. Gamified features like streaks, quizzes, and 1v1 duels make learning interactive and engaging. By simplifying coding challenges into approachable tasks, CodeOnTheGo makes coding practice accessible anytime, anywhere.
Why choose us?
At CodeOnTheGo, we’re not just building another app — we’re pouring our energy into creating something that genuinely helps people learn to code in a way that feels engaging and personal. We’re putting in the hours to get this right, but we know there’s so much more we can learn, especially when it comes to reaching people and making our product stick. You’ve taken ideas and turned them into real, impactful ventures at Telequotes and BayCityCulture, and that’s exactly what we’re aiming to do. We’d love to hear your perspective on how to connect with users, refine our messaging, and make sure every move we make is intentional and meaningful.

@"Davidson Chua Chee Chuan"
Hi Mr Davidson, we are Tan Jay and Lim Zi Yong, two students who are currently working on LearNUS—a peer-to-peer tutoring platform designed to empower students by making academic support more accessible, personalized, and community-driven.

While we don’t come from a background with strong prior experience in building startups or tech products, however we bring with us something more valuable: a deep curiosity, strong collaboration, and an eagerness to learn and grow through this journey. We're driven by the belief that building a community where students can help each other succeed, which leads us to this product.

LearNUS aims to connect students who need help with those who can offer it—through features like module-based tutor search, real-time session bookings, messaging, ratings and reviews, and gamified community engagement. It's a platform for students, by students, and we’re committed to making it truly impactful. Too often, academic help is either too formal, expensive, or impersonal. On the other hand, many students are highly capable and willing to help each other, but lack a structured, trusted platform to connect and offer their time. We believe LearNUS fills that gap.

We're seeking guidance from experienced individuals who can help us shape LearNUS into a well-rounded, scalable platform. Your expertise would mean a lot to us, helping us think long-term and stay grounded in building something meaningful and impactful!

We’re super excited about the possibility of being mentored by you and learning from your experience. We’re confident that with your guidance, we can push LearNUS to reach its full potential!

Hi Davidson! @"Davidson Chua Chee Chuan"

We’re Divya and Atharva from Team 7512 (Teamigo), and we’re excited to reach out about potentially collaborating with you. Our goal is to eliminate the operational friction behind community-building so that more people can belong, and more organisers can grow without burning out.

Your experience co-founding startups and working in C2B and Telegram community spaces is incredibly relevant to what we’re trying to build. Your passion for validating real ideas with users and shipping solid, meaningful products is exactly the kind of mindset we’re looking to work alongside. We’d be incredibly excited to build this with your guidance and feedback.

We’d love to explore this together with you. Below are our details, and you can access all our material in the Drive folder. We’re looking forward to your response!

Hi Davidson!

We are Jasper Ang and Jeric Tan from Team Lyst, and we’d love to work with you to bring our relationship-management app, Lyst, to life.

We want Lyst to be an AI-powered relationship management app, that acts as a centralised platform for all your relationship needs, and automatically plans fully fleshed out dates, including date routes and the like, making intimacy and spontaneity convenient. We created this knowing that managing and planning for relationships can be stressful, particularly for busy university students balancing academics, extracurricular activities, and personal life.

We saw that you have a lot of experience, co-founding Telequotes & BayCityCulture, and with your expertise in marketing strategy, business partnerships, and go-to-market execution, we believe your guidance will be invaluable in validating our product with real users, refining our launch roadmap, and securing strategic partnerships. I personally (Jasper) have always been interested in unique marketing and advertising strategies I see used by other up-and-coming companies, and am interested in having more mastery of this in the digital space, and we would love to learn more from you to hear your insights in this area too.

We look forward to the chance to collaborate and learn from your experience!

Thank you for considering our request. We look forward to hearing from you soon!

Dear Davidson @"Davidson Chua Chee Chuan",

We are excited to introduce you to Xin Hao Fan (新好饭, named after 拼好饭 in China), a platform to match users with similar Grabfood group orders. This enables everyone in the group to save on delivery fees, get discounts, and most importantly: order food they actually want, when they want it.

Our team’s experience spans both technical and business fields. Kexi is a highly committed programmer, who not only scores well consistently in programming modules, but is also doing data science projects in her free time.Zizhong has participated in hackathons in NUS, such as the Singlife Datathon, where he utilised Python, XGBoost and R to match insurance agents with clients. Before college, co-founded Stick’em, a startup providing robotics kits programmed with Arduino to primary schools. He is passionate about developing software that provides value to its users.

We are highly interested in software development, learning new things, and most importantly, eating good food! This will not only be a summer pet project for us; we hope to launch a fully functional service starting with NUS, so everyone can get to enjoy good food at cheaper prices.

Davidson Chua Chee Chuan

Hello @"Chua Kai Jie Emerson", @"Lee Chong Rui" , @"Joanne Koe Zi Xin" , @"Shah Divya Manishkumar" , @"Ang Guan Yu Jasper" @"Zhang Zizhong"

I'd like to firstly thank you for taking the time dropping a note for me here to connect as mentor and mentee, really appreciate it.
I've looked at all of your proposal and documentation and I'm thoroughly impressed with all of them, really excited for all of you on the next few months!

That said, due to the limitations of my role as a mentor, I'll be selecting only one team to work closely with, in order to ensure I can provide the most focused and productive support. My selection is based on the alignment of their project with my experience, where I believe I can add the most value.

That being said, if you'd still like to chat or get feedback on specific areas where I might be able to help, please feel free to reach out or book a slot with me via my calendar: cal.com/davidsonchua

Looking forward and all the best on your Orbital projects!
