Hi Chi Fa,
We are Kai Qing and Ee Syuen from team HandyGo. We were excited to come across your profile, especially your interest in full-stack web development, UI/UX, API design, and building impactful projects, which aligns closely with what we’re creating.
HandyGo is a mobile application that connects users with trusted service providers for home services such as plumbing, cleaning, and electrical work. Our goal is to make the booking process faster, more transparent, and fair — especially in urgent situations — using AI-powered matching, real-time booking tracking, and dynamic pricing. On the provider side, we’re building tools for workers to manage their bookings, earnings, and availability.
We’re currently in the Lift-off phase and are focusing on building a well-structured backend with Firebase and Node.js, and a responsive frontend using React Native. We’re also exploring how to design clear user flows and scalable APIs to support both sides of the app.

Thank you for considering our request. We’d love to have your guidance as we develop both the system architecture and the user experience.

@"Foo Chi Fa"
Hi Mr Foo, we are Tan Jay and Lim Zi Yong, two students who are currently working on LearNUS—a peer-to-peer tutoring platform designed to empower students by making academic support more accessible, personalized, and community-driven.

While we don’t come from a background with strong prior experience in building startups or tech products, however we bring with us something more valuable: a deep curiosity, strong collaboration, and an eagerness to learn and grow through this journey. We're driven by the belief that building a community where students can help each other succeed, which leads us to this product.

LearNUS aims to connect students who need help with those who can offer it—through features like module-based tutor search, real-time session bookings, messaging, ratings and reviews, and gamified community engagement. It's a platform for students, by students, and we’re committed to making it truly impactful. Too often, academic help is either too formal, expensive, or impersonal. On the other hand, many students are highly capable and willing to help each other, but lack a structured, trusted platform to connect and offer their time. We believe LearNUS fills that gap.

We're seeking guidance from experienced individuals who can help us shape LearNUS into a well-rounded, scalable platform. Your expertise would mean a lot to us, helping us think long-term and stay grounded in building something meaningful and impactful!

We’re super excited about the possibility of being mentored by you and learning from your experience. We’re confident that with your guidance, we can push LearNUS to reach its full potential!

Hi Chi Fa! @"Foo Chi Fa"

We’re Divya and Atharva from Team 7512 (Teamigo), and we’d love to work together with you on our project. Our app, Teamigo, is our answer to the disjointed way communities are formed and run today. Whether someone’s trying to find local clubs and events, or an organiser needs to manage announcements, calendars, merchandise, and members, Teamigo unites it all in one place. It’s built to eliminate the friction from community-building so that more people can find their tribe, and more leaders can grow without burning out.

Given your full stack background and strong interest in API design, UI/UX, web security, and distributed systems, we believe you’d be a great fit for shaping the overall direction of Teamigo. Your desire to building cool and impactful projects makes us confident this will be as meaningful and exciting for you as it will for us.

We'd be absolutely delighted to get a chance to work with you, do kindly take a look at our materials below in the Drive folder. We’re looking forward to your response!

Dear Mr Foo Chi Fa @"Foo Chi Fa"

ScribeMaster is a webapp that aims to address long-standing issues and difficulties experienced by Game Masters(GMs) and players of TableTop Role Playing Games(TTRPGS), such as Dungeons & Dragons.

From our survey, many GMs face difficulties managing large amounts of scattered information, limited customisability from online tools and difficulties in communication slowing down the game. This makes it difficult for both the GM and players to enjoy and immerse themselves playing.

Our goal with ScribeMaster is to simplify the workflow and information management faced by GMs, centralizing campaign and information management, simplifying combat tracking, enhancing party communication and providing real-time stat monitoring. Our application targets both beginner and experienced GMs who often struggle with fragmented tools, paywalls, and steep learning curves found in existing platforms like VTT Foundry or D&D Beyond.

This would greatly reduce the work needed for setting up and running campaigns for GMs, and players would be able to more easily access custom resources setup by their GM.
Why choose us?
We would love to learn from you, given your extensive experience in both frontend and backend development, as our project will require extensive data management for the backend, and a smooth and intuitive frontend. Our goal is to provide a smooth and efficient experience for our users, and we believe that your experience and guidance would help us greatly.
If you are available to mentor us, we would be incredibly grateful for your support. We are also happy to explain our proposal further or walk you through our prototype and development plan at your convenience.

Hi Chi Fa!

We are Jasper Ang and Jeric Tan from Team Lyst, and we’d love to work with you to bring our relationship-management app, Lyst, to life.

We want Lyst to be an AI-powered relationship management app, that acts as a centralised platform for all your relationship needs, and automatically plans fully fleshed out dates, including date routes and the like, making intimacy and spontaneity convenient. We created this knowing that managing and planning for relationships can be stressful, particularly for busy university students balancing academics, extracurricular activities, and personal life.

Our team definitely aligns with you in your vision to create impactful apps, and that is exactly what we want to do with our app ideas! With your role as Software Engineer and expertise in full-stack web development, API design, UI/UX, distributed systems, web security, and ML engineering, your mentorship would be invaluable in designing a secure, scalable backend, crafting intuitive APIs, and ensuring a polished front-end experience. Your guidance will help us build a robust architecture that can grow effortlessly as we add AI-powered features.

We look forward to the chance to collaborate and learn from your experience!

Thank you for considering our request. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
