My name is Zeyuan, and along with my teammate Stanley, we are developing an app called Uniwell, aimed at helping university students maintain a healthy balance between their academic responsibilities and personal well-being. We are team FlashForge. We aim to revolutionize the way students and professionals create and use flashcards by automating flashcard creation and integrating AI technology. Our goal is to enhance traditional flashcard functionality with automated features, making the learning process faster, more efficient, and highly effective.
Why did we choose this project?
The idea for FlashForge emerged from our own frustrations with existing flashcard apps. We found that the manual process of creating flashcards was tedious and time-consuming, often detracting from valuable study time. As students who value efficient and effective study tools, we recognized the need for an intelligent solution that could streamline this process. By automating flashcard creation and incorporating AI-powered features, we aim to help learners focus more on studying and less on preparation, thereby improving productivity and knowledge retention.
How?
FlashForge is a full-stack development project, and we are picking up skills in software engineering to build a scalable and functional product. Our app will automatically generate flashcards from highlighted text, track memorization performance, and use AI to enhance learning with rephrased content and visual aids.
