Why don't the waves of enemies in games like Vampire Survivors just attack the player's UI?

Surely, surviving would be a lot harder without the ability to move properly, look at how much health you've got left, or if the coins you've been saving up so diligently for that upgrade started pouring out of your inventory.

This is the concept that Team BugByte (in the game lovingly named BugBytes) tries to implement in our multiplayer, top-down pixel art castle-defense game; also a concept that we require your mentorship in. You will have to walk around different screens, protecting different UI at the same time and eventually choosing which ones are no longer worth defending, all while protecting yourself (and the castle!) from the vicious swarms of bugs.

Mr. Tianle, we believe that a dev shouldn't be single-faceted.
A software dev shouldn't be just a software dev—how would they make sure their app works comfortably well in the hands of others?
A web dev shouldn't be just a web dev—how would they market their site to people?
A game dev shouldn't be just a game dev—how would they make the art and music their game needs?

And most of all, a team of two game developers passionate about making games shouldn't just be a team of two. We value more than just your technical capabilities. In our team, you're not just a convenient "tutorial". We love building ideas, and we're sure your ideas are the kind of ideas we would love to build into our game. But there's only one way to find out: if you'd like to talk to either one of us about our game, or even about our personal passions about game development (and playing games in general), please feel free to do so.

Lovingly written,
Amos Chee Tian Ee, Y1 CS (https://t.me/amoschee | e1122879@u.nus.edu)

My team asked me whether their game development needs the full CICD process. Because they are using game makers, it is not realistic for them to do the CICD provided no SDK is available.

I would like to ask for more details so I can help them

Thank you!
