Dear Krishnan, @"Gautam Krishnan"
BizUP aims to be a one-stop mobile application booking system catered for small/home-based service providers to manage their business. We aim to bridge the gap in the current market for an application with an efficient platform for business owners to offer users consolidated business information for ease of comparison.

With our expansive and broad search categorization, customers can easily access all service providers in one location and conveniently find and book a service that meets their requirements(price, geolocation and availability). Our platform streamlines the appointment-booking process together with an in-app payment system, ultimately fostering the growth of small businesses.

BizUP is our original entrepreneurial idea that we are eager to bring to life. In fact, we have the vision to take this further even after the project by improving the prototype and to revolutionize the way small business owners manage their business in Singapore. Your expertise and guidance would be invaluable to us on this journey and we would greatly appreciate it. We are willing to learn and are very open to your much needed advice.
We look forward to hearing from you and do contact us if you have any queries!
Thank you!

Best regards,
Foo Jia Yi and Jing Xinai

Hi Gautam,
We are Ivan Lee and Amy Ling from BeatIt.

Our project aims to improve the quality of life of dancers by simplifying processes such as reviewing videos or playing back music to practise different parts of the choreography.

How the app will work is that users can import their dance music into the app, which will give them the option to add bookmarks which they can then access while playing the music. Then with a push of a button, users can skip forward or back to the right moment to start practising the choreography.

In addition, users can also choose to overlay a new audio file of choice over their video should the original audio be too muffled or distorted. They can then choose to have the audio synced automatically to the video, removing the need for any wasted effort on the user’s end. This new video with higher quality sound helps dancers focus purely on remembering their steps instead of having to guess which part of the song they are at.

Our app will also serve as a form of visualisation for the different positions that dancers have to take on stage by providing ways for the video to be annotated. These annotations can then be shared with the other dancers as well, providing an effective way for choreographers to give feedback to their dancers.

We plan on using React Native for the frontend and Firebase for our backend databases. We will also make use of Python for signal processing and libraries such as FFmpeg for video processing.

We saw that you are looking for a team that is looking to solve a real world problem, and that is what we are trying to do, with the idea actually originating from the hassles our friends and ourselves faced. However, something that we think we will need help with is figuring out the best practices we should abide by to keep the app maintainable and sustainable for us to develop in the long run.

With your rich history of experiences, we believe that there is definitely much to learn from you and we really hope to be able to work with you as our mentor.

Our team consists of two hardworking individuals with a vision to help dancers improve themselves, by removing the obstacles in their way and paving the road for them. We hope that we can share this vision with you and convince you to join us on this adventure!

Hi Gautam!

We are William and Gerard from Team ConcernedFox, a pair of self-driven CS students who are trying to solve a current problem that is faced by most students: mental health and productivity problems. We are reaching out to you since we believe your experience in software development will greatly help us to build this application. We’ll be happy to meet you in person too!

We are working on our all-in-one student mentor mobile application, ‘Zenith’, to enhance the lives of students in both their personal and academic spheres. This application will allow students to not only schedule their assignments and study schedule rationally but also consider their mental state by giving the users tips related to mental health as well as productivity. With the gamification feature, Zenith will be able to track and use the data of the students to analyze their schedules and lifestyle. By providing a range of features that support emotional resilience and healthy habits, the application helps students build the skills and strategies they need to thrive both personally and academically.

To realize our vision, we prioritize robust backend & data analysis as well as good UI & UX for users. For our tech stack, we plan to utilize Java, Node.js, SupaBase, FireBase Test Lab, and Unity.

We are eager to discuss our project further with you and learn under your mentorship. Your guidance as a mentor would help us fulfill our goal to help students achieve their goals while also keeping a healthy mental state.

Thank you for your time! We sincerely hope to have the opportunity to work with you on this exciting project. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or require additional information.

Best regards,
William and Gerard

Hi Gautam!
We are excited to share with you our product, Boundless Bazaar. It is an e-commerce web platform that connects travellers and buyers, making it easier than ever for buyers to obtain products from overseas that might otherwise be difficult to access due to location or high shipping costs.
Our platform allows buyers to upload product requests, which can be viewed by other users on the platform. Travelers who happen to be in the country where the product is available, can accept the request and help make the purchase for the buyer, bringing the product back with them when they travel to the buyer's country, while earning a commission doing so.

We see the potential for this platform to revolutionise the way people shop for products from overseas, and we believe that it could be a game-changer in the e-commerce industry.

One goal that we have for our project is to follow industry level software development standards, and hence, your background in Software Development would be really helpful. With your expertise and guidance, we hope to create something truly special that will benefit consumers all over the world, and we would be honoured if you would consider mentoring our team as we bring this platform to life.
Thank you for your time!
Best Regards,
A&EmoneySaver
