@"Ryuto Sunaga"
Hi Ryuto,

We are Kenneth Seet and Edmund Ng from Team RaveNUS, and we are reaching out to you as we think that your focus areas are in line with the web application we want to develop, which our team is named after.

We chose to reach out to you because as a former NUS student who was enrolled in Orbital, we feel that you are very suited to be a mentor to us, as you were once in our shoes (even down to our projects both being web applications!). We feel that mentoring us will also be a meaningful experience for you as it provides an opportunity for you to perfect your skills when it comes to supervising projects.

Given the unique nature of your prior involvement in Orbital and your current standing as an experienced developer, we hope that Edmund and I, as budding software engineers, can create something that generates value for the NUS community.

RaveNUS is intended to be a web application that provides seamless integration with NUSMods, a website which students use to view their timetables, in order to generate personalised recommendations based on location, time of day, and dietary restrictions, to name a few criterion.

Furthermore, our web application also allows users to view the statistics of meals that they have consumed to date, allowing it to be used as an application to track expenditure, calories, and other fun information, such as favourite food items.

We intend for RaveNUS to be developed using Firebase for its databases, Python for data analysis, and finally React for our frontend development.

We have attached our promotional materials, proposal, names and contact details at the end of this message for you to learn more about our project, and get in touch with us if you are interested.

We hope to hear from you soon!

Thanks for your time!

Hi Mr. Ryuto,

We are Navya and Paridhi from Team Ideators2403, and we hope that you will mentor us as we build FamTime!

We envision FamTime as a web application that aims to provide a virtual space for families separated by distance to communicate and connect seamlessly. FamTime would allow families to chat, see what others are up to, share calendars, schedule family time and plan important events collaboratively. The user interface would simulate a real home, complete with a living room and private rooms so that users feel connected even when they are far apart.

We plan to build FamTime using the MERN stack, and also create a Telegram bot using JS to deliver reminders to our users.

We are both beginners in web development but are excited and driven to learn and develop this solution. We are committed to creating a neatly coded web application with a sound user interface by following good design, software engineering and project management practices. We think that your experience in these fields would go a long way in helping us accomplish this.

We have attached our proposal, poster and video with this message for your perusal. We hope you will guide us as we try to make FamTime a reality :)

Best Regards,
Team Ideators 2403

Hi Ryuto!

We are excited to share with you our product, Boundless Bazaar. It is a web platform that connects travelers and buyers, making it easier than ever for buyers to obtain products from overseas that might otherwise be difficult to access due to location or high shipping costs.

Our platform allows buyers to upload product requests, which can be viewed by other users on the platform. Travelers who happen to be in the country where the product is available can accept the request and help make the purchase for the buyer, bringing the product back with them when they travel to the buyer's country.

We see the potential for this platform to revolutionise the way people shop for products from overseas, and we believe that it could be a game-changer in the e-commerce industry.

With your extensive experience and knowledge in web development, we believe that you can help us create a platform that is not only innovative but also robust, user-friendly, and scalable.

We would be honoured if you would consider mentoring our team as we bring Boundless Bazaar to life.

Thank you for your time, and we look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Best regards,
A&EmoneySaver

Hi Mr. Ryuto,
We are CodeForGood and we are thrilled to introduce our project, NUSMatch, to you. As students ourselves, we recognise the challenges that students face when forming project and study groups. As such, our goal is to create a web application that benefits the NUS student body by providing a platform for students to connect and form groups. Additionally, we aim to offer students the opportunity to enhance their soft skills and work with different people, which would be valuable to them in the future.

We are confident that our passion for this project and our understanding of its significance for the NUS community makes us a great choice to bring this idea to fruition. Our solution would be particularly helpful for off-campus students and student exchangers. We understand that this project will require hard work and long hours but we are highly motivated individuals who are committed to learning and acquiring the necessary skills to accomplish this task.

We would be more than happy to answer any questions that you may have regarding our project and would appreciate any form of guidance and support. We look forward to the opportunity to work with you.

Thank you for your valuable time and consideration!

Cheers,
CodeForGood
