Dear Jerry,

We are a team called Project Rama, and we will be working on a mobile application that aims to connect people to form the perfect team and manage their tasks within that team. We observed that students are unable to find like-minded teammates to collaborate with one another in a project. Therefore, we’ve come up with our app Launchlab NUS to solve this issue and better manage tasks and deadlines. Our project involves the use of tech stack such as Flutter, Supabase, Figma and PostgreSQL.

We have decided to reach out to you as our application development project would be in line to what you are looking for. Furthermore, given your expertise and experience, we believe that you would be the perfect mentor to guide us through our project.

We would be honoured for you to mentor us and provide us with your valuable insights and feedback. We are eager to learn from your experiences and gain valuable knowledge that can help us improve our project.

We look forward to hearing back from you soon!

Best regards,
5920 - Project Rama

Hi Mr. Jerry,

We are Navya and Paridhi from Team Ideators2403, and we hope that you will mentor us as we build FamTime!

We envision FamTime as a web application that aims to provide a virtual space for families separated by distance to communicate and connect seamlessly. FamTime would allow families to chat, see what others are up to, share calendars, schedule family time and plan important events collaboratively. The user interface would simulate a real home, complete with a living room and private rooms so that users feel connected even when they are far apart.

We plan to build FamTime using the MERN stack, and also create a Telegram bot using JS to deliver reminders to our users.

We are both beginners in web development but are excited and driven to learn and develop this solution. We are committed to creating a neatly coded web application with a sound user interface by following good design, software engineering and project management practices. We think that your experience in these fields would go a long way in helping us accomplish this.

We have attached our proposal, poster and video with this message for your perusal. We hope you will guide us as we try to make FamTime a reality :)

Best Regards,
Team Ideators 2403

Hi Jerry,
We are Clay and Xenos, and our project is called RPGym. We aim to revolutionise the gym experience by making working out consistently fun and accessible for everyone. We plan to provide users with an all-in-one mobile application that combines an RPG-style gamification system and comprehensive workout tracking tools to help people stay motivated, log their progress, and achieve their fitness goals.

Both of us have started going to the gym recently, and we sometimes find it hard to stay motivated, especially without friends to consistently exercise with. In order to solve our problem, we wanted to make an application which makes staying motivated to exercise easier. We will implement gamification and peer accountability features to help with motivation, and implement workout tracking features that allow users to track their progress at the gym.

We are willing to learn and want to ensure that our software engineering practices are up to industry standard. Your experience in full stack software engineering will be of paramount importance in helping us to build our app.

Feel free to contact us or refer to the attached materials to find out more about the specifics of our project. We hope that you will take us up as mentees and we look forward to potentially working with you. Thank you for your time!

Dear Jerry,
We are Yaohong and Chenbo from Team Unmei no Farfalla. We will embark on an ambitious project to create an open-world RPG game with Rogue-like, tower defence, gacha and dating simulator elements that could engage players up to 10 hours. As game enthusiasts, we are passionate to design our very own game with a good emphasis on UI/UX design and assets design. We have past experience working on CP3108 (“Source Academy”) and writing neat and extensible code that follows industry standards. We are also eager to try out new technologies to boost the efficiency of our code.
We look forward to a fruitful learning experience under your guidance!
Yours sincerely,
Team Unmei no Farfalla
