One of our life aspirations would be to make an impact in this world. Using the Orbital program as a foundation to do so, we would like to share our project idea with you, Spense!
With Spense, we're streamlining the entire process of receipt and expense management while eliminating the environmental wastage caused by paper receipts. Users would no longer have to collect paper receipts, but rather have multiple methods to identify themselves and have their receipts stored virtually (RFID cards, Bluetooth, Face ID, etc) Additionally, users can easily organize and categorize receipts in one centralized place, eliminating the hassle of paper receipts.
But it doesn't stop there. Spense goes beyond just managing expenses. It offers features like warranty and exchange tracking, providing timely reminders for expiration dates. We're also developing Spense Monitor, which provides analytical insights on spending patterns and generates personalized reports for users and businesses alike.
We're excited about the potential impact of Spense. Together with your mentorship and our past project experience, we look forward to revolutionizing the way we store transactional records in a sustainable, secure and convenient way.

BizUP aims to be a one-stop mobile application booking system catered for small/home-based service providers to manage their business. We aim to bridge the gap in the current market for an application with an efficient platform for business owners to offer users consolidated business information for ease of comparison.
With our expansive and broad search categorization, customers can easily access all service providers in one location and conveniently find and book a service that meets their requirements(price, geolocation and availability). Our platform streamlines the appointment-booking process together with an in-app payment system, ultimately fostering the growth of small businesses.
BizUP is our original entrepreneurial idea that we are eager to bring to life. Splitmah is a bill-splitting app. With an ever increasing number of payment methods, we understand that splitting expenses can be a hassle, especially when dealing with multiple people, and multiple expenses of varying amounts and types. Splitmah aims to simplify the process of finding out who owes what, thereby making managing shared expenses a breeze.
We plan to integrate various payment options in our application, so as to simplify the process of managing owed payments. Given that this is in line with what you are looking for, your wealth of experience in this area will be of great help to us in this project.
Despite having little prior experience in SWE, as a team, we are committed to learning as much as we can, and are willing to tough it out to produce a quality bill-splitting app. We are eager to learn as much we can about software engineering, and most importantly, from you.

We are Gian Sen and Jason, and we aim to design a holistic mobile app that encourages one to be on their path to become a healthier individual. We believe that with your deep knowledge in Instore Payment apps and consumer apps, that our project would receive the most benefit under your guidance. self++ is an app that monitors various aspects of life including sleep, focus, activity levels, and we hope for this app to become an all encompassing wellness app for our target audience. This app also is a consumer app, which is why we would love to receive mentorship from you in this aspect. We hope to bring about the idea of gamification by providing daily tasks and rewarding individuals for completing tasks daily, and offer them in game currency to decorate their island to their liking. As students, our overall health is of utmost importance, and we hope this app will help encourage students to approach their lives from a more holistic point of view. The idea of a reward system and customisation of a personal island would serve as a form of motivation for them. Future developments would be allowing users to purchase in game currency, which is where your area of expertise comes in and we would love to be mentored in this area.
Both of us are motivated to learn the relevant technologies required to make this app a success, as well as adhering to good software engineering practices to allow for continuous integration and development. We feel that with your guidance in the industry as well as full stack development experience, we would be able to succeed in this endeavour.
