The main motivation behind creating this application is the overly complex task manager in the market today. As such we wanted to create something that is simple yet effective. Inspired by the concept of bullet journalling, our project Striker was born – a task manager application that focuses on getting the job done, without the superfluous design. We are using React from the frontend and Go for the backend.
We feel that your wealth of experience is very relevant to our project and will be immensely useful in guiding us in the right direction as we embark on this project. We are Justin and Yue Hern from TheSocialPitstop, an online community connecting businesses and socially-oriented organisations for corporate social responsibility projects! There are many benefits for businesses to get involved in CSR activities, yet many companies, especially SMEs, struggle to plan an initiative that is both meaningful and enjoyable for their employees. Through our web and mobile applications, we aim to promote and streamline collaboration between these businesses and like-minded SOOs, and increase the adoption of CSR among businesses in Singapore.
Given that you are looking for initiatives that tackle social issues or work with NGOs, we foresee that our project might greatly interest you.
