Hi Melvin,
Inspired by the will to help a senior who was unable to secure a stay within NUS, we decided to develop a 1 stop solution for tenants to find housemates/roommates and accommodation choices in Singapore.
Our solution revolves around the idea of auto matchmaking, a comprehensive tagging system and data crawling.
We have surveyed the current websites and we noticed that the platforms only cater to 1 function, i.e. either searching for an accommodation or matchmaking with another tenant. Also, they are lacking an extensive tagging system for the convenience of users.
Seeing that a 1 stop solution for both features is unavailable, we decided to seize this opportunity as a means of filling the market gap. Your guidance and expertise in entrepreneurship is highly valued and appreciated.

The project is an interesting one, which will likely be used by many people (including NUS students). Having once been an NUS student myself, I do understand the difficulties faced by students in securing accommodation on campus. There is definitely a clear demand for such an app, and there is potential for this solution to be scaled for use by the wider community (beyond just students looking for accommodation).
